EEO: Ohio Attorney General's Office and Ohio Department of Education Title IX Training
This training is for employees that are designated to receive complaints and report any knowledge of discriminatory and harassing behavior under the College’s Chapter 3 Policies.* (See Policy Nos. 3-42, 3-43, 3-44, and 3-45). During the upcoming HR/Budget Forums that were highlighted in the Update, Chief of Staff Kim Hall will review the 2014 training curriculum requirements that apply to various categories of College employees.
Because calendars fill quickly, we want to extend an early invitation to join the Ohio Attorney General’s Office and the Ohio Department of Education for an EEO Compliance Training Session. The training will review CSCC policies and federal and state law as they relate to compliance with Title IX Amendments to the Higher Education Act and the non-discrimination and anti-harassment obligations of the College. Additionally, the training will review your responsibilities as a designated reporter and requirements under the Age Discrimination Act of 1975.
For more information about these polices and this training event, please contact Jackie DeGenova, Columbus State In-House Counsel, 287-5939.
* Relevant Employees include: Supervisors, Directors, Deans, Chairpersons, Administrators, Human Resources Employees, Police Department Employees, Athletic managers and Coaches, Student Conduct Directors and Coordinators.
